Rights and Responsibilities
SOS America is a national and patriotic, non voting membership organization comprised of dues-paying Americans who believe in the value of universal military service for all the young men of the nation.
- Every member of SOS America has the following rights:
- Participate in the advocacy and growth of the organization.
- Be identified as a member and a recruiter of new members.
- Provide interactive input in the private SOS America discussion forum.
- Utilize the special, member’s only contact channel.
- Organize, if desired, local and state chapters of SOS America in coordination with the national office.
- Attend SOS America meetings and other convocations as the member chooses to do so.
- Contact local, state and national elected officials to support the program of universal military service as advocated by SOS America.
- Host educational seminars and like events in the name of and in support of SOS America in coordination with the national office or the existing state office.
- Be recognized as a member dependent on level of effort and member recruitment support.
- Earn rewards (to be established) for exemplary membership activity.
Every member of SOS America has the following responsibilities:
- Support SOS America goals and objectives.
- Contribute monthly dues of $1 on a yearly basis ($12, or at the $50 and $100 level) to provide for program support.
- Recruit at least three members to join the cause using online or mail-in channels.
- Advocate the need for military service as outlined in the SOS America program.
- Arrange out reach and speaking events for SOS America leadership representatives.
